We had a western theme to the party. That meant cowboy hats, sheriff's badges, and chocolate cake. Below Joe wears two of that hats, but not for long. He's not much of a hat man.
Since we had threatening thunderstorms all day, Elisa quickly put together some indoor games even though we didn't need them. Here Andy prepares for that classic game, pin-the-badge-on-the-sheriff.
For his first try, he did a good job.
Classic boy meets cake shot.
For Joey's birthday, Elisa asked me to build the boys a sand box for the back yard. I enlisted the help Larry, the Super Carpenter. He's helped me on some projects before. Below, Larry gives Andy a shot at using the cordless drill. Andy loved the opportunity. We got the sand box together, but have yet to get the sand.
More cake shots.
